Do you know a young researcher making a real difference in animal free science? Then I would like to invite you to nominate them for the Hugo van Poelgeest Award. The Hugo van Poelgeest Award recognises early career researchers whose work contributes meaningfully to the transition towards human-based science.
We grant this award every other year, together with Stichting Bouwstenen voor Dierenwelzijn.
Who can be nominated?
Researchers who completed their master's degree within the last 8 years and are based in the Netherlands. Nominations must come from a supervisor.
The prize
The top three nominees each receive a professionally produced promotional video of their research. Based on their video, they can win two prizes: a jury prize of EUR5,000 and an audience award of EUR1,500.
