\u00a0<\/strong>Technological innovations in the area of organ-on-a-chip are evolving at high speed. Since it might better mimic the human situation, the organ-on-a-chip should be embraced, but how to use it in risk assessment? And what questions would we as risk assessors like to be answered by an organ-on-a-chip model?<\/p>\n

During this symposium, knowledge in this field will be shared and a dialogue will be facilitated among all participants concerning this topic. During a TEDx meeting in Boston, Geraldine Hamilton provided a well-explained talk about organ-on-a-chip. You can view this talk via https:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/geraldine_hamilton_body_parts_on_a_chip<\/a>.<\/p>\n
