Then I would like to invite you to nominate them for the <a href=\"https:\/\/proefdiervrij.nl\/actueel\/start-nominatieronde-hugo-van-poelgeestprijs-2026\">Hugo van Poelgeest Award<\/a>. The Hugo van Poelgeest Award recognises early career researchers whose work contributes meaningfully to the transition towards human-based science.<\/p>\n<p>We grant this award every other year, together with Stichting Bouwstenen voor Dierenwelzijn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can be nominated?<\/strong><br \/>\nResearchers who completed their master's degree within the last 8 years and are based in the Netherlands. Nominations must come from a supervisor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The prize<\/strong><br \/>\nThe top three nominees each receive a professionally produced promotional video of their research. Based on their video, they can win two prizes: a jury prize of EUR5,000 and an audience award of EUR1,500.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to nominate?<\/strong><br \/>\nComplete the <a href=\"https:\/\/proefdiervrij.nl\/en\/updates\/start-nomination-round-hugo-van-poelgeest-award-2026\">nomination form<\/a>, it takes just a few minutes.<br \/>\nNo one specific in mind?
