Robert L. Dixon International Travel Award

The Robert L. Dixon Award, generously sponsored by the Toxicology Education Foundation (TEF), supports a graduate student in the area of reproductive toxicology to attend the triennial International Congress of Toxicology (ICT) sponsored by IUTOX. ICTXV is being hosted by SOT in Honolulu, Hawaii July 15-18, 2019.
 
The Dixon Award carries a stipend of $2,000 to enable a Ph.D. candidate enrolled in a full-time program to attend the ICT meeting. Applications are available on the TEF website.
 
Travel Award Timeline
 
Applications due to TEF by December 7, 2018
Fellowship recipient will be announced by February 4, 2019
 
Strength of application will be determined by:

  • perceived benefit to applicant
  • originality of dissertation research
  • research productivity
  • importance of research to reproductive toxicology
  • scholastic achievement
  • letter of recommendation

TEF established the international travel award in memory of Robert L. Dixon as a tribute to his dedication to the field of toxicology and student training. Generous contributions to TEF ensure ongoing funding for this grant.
